Harman's Sales Results for the Week of 5/30

5/30/08-1 approaches/0 presentations/1 sales--Roseville--8:00 p.m.--Cards--Walked around for 1 hour and couldn't do a presentation. Lot's of people--what I had to say seemed too lame. I bought an entire set of cards myself. The thought of "am I the person who sells something they don't/can't own?" came up.

5/29/08-10 approaches/6 presentations/0 sales--Roseville--6:00 p.m.--Cards

5/28/08-34 approaches/34 presentations/? sales--Taught a class on influence

5/27/08-10 approaches/8 presentations/1 sale--Roseville--6:00 p.m.--Cards

5/26/08-3 approaches/3 presentations/1 sale--Roseville--7:45 p.m.--Cards--Sold one to a Starbucks' employee without asking for the sale. Asked if I could do a presentation because I was well under my objective for the day. When I was picking up the cards the person said "wait" and put a dollar on the counter for me. My story is that I went out too late. There were not a lot of people out and I felt like I was hunting everyone who went to their car. It felt too uncomfortable.

5/25/08-10 approaches/10 presentation/0 sales--Roseville--7:00 p.m.--Cards--Jeremy & Branden joined in the game. Selling cards felt more fun today.
  • One man showed us his empty wallet as the reason he couldn't buy
  • One woman declined to buy because I said we were not affiliated with a church.
  • One man was reaching for his wallet when his wife said "we are not interested."
5/24/08-10 approaches/1 presentation/0 sales--Roseville--9:00 p.m.--"How to Win by Quitting"--Branden joined in the game
