For most of the week, I put off selling because of our Friday Sale-a-thon. I had not "sold" for an hour straight before. I had always set a number of people to talk to.
Branden, my son, and I decided to sell in downtown Roseville. Branden on his own, created a chart that said 1-4 people was "not so good"; 5 to 9 people was "very nice"; 10 to 15 was "awesome" and over 16 was "way over". We used his rating scale and he tracked our progress.
For the sale-a-thon, we talked to 30 people, approximately 23 presentations and sold 4 Good Time cards. I also sold "Spiritual Harmony" but had no buyers.
My results for the week are:
People spoken to: 39
Presentations: 32
Sales: 4 Good Time Cards
I found that at the 4o minute mark I was ready to start skipping people. Branden helped keep me honest. He also thought that we should devote 1/2 our time to selling Spiritual Harmony.
Tomorrow, I/we may go out and sell Wild Time Cards or Spiritual Harmony because I am running low on Good Time Cards. Also, we need to up the game from $1 to $5.
Thank you to Barry & Tracey for suggesting and playing in the sale-a-thon. Thank you to Jerry for encouraging me. Thank you to Branden for the play.
