Tomorrow Barry, Harman, and I will be selling at the same time. At 1 o'clock for them on the west coast & at 4 o'clock for me here in North Carolina...I'm thrilled and ready. Anything they can do, I can do, too. Ha. Well I'm ready and not ready, ready and not ready, ready and not ready. Kind of like Alive and not quite. It's been over seven years since I made a presentation in this way, with this kind of game, with others on my team, without a chance of failing. Ah, I'm home. This is life. Thank you J, Harman, and Barry.
As I fall asleep at night since we made up this game, I practice my spiel. It's right here, for anyone's edits, comments or use: "Hello. My name is Tracey, and I'm out today telling people about a book a friend of mine wrote. Do you have a minute to hear about it?" "Great. Thank you."
"My friend's name is Jerry Stocking, and he lives in the woods of northern Georgia. Years ago, he used to be a stock broker for Shearon-Lehman Brothers, and he noticed while talking to clients in his office that they prefered to talk about their lives not their money. They talked about what made them happy and what made their families happy. They loved to talk about themselves, their fears, their anxieties and their joys.
After years of being in the financial world and noticing this about people, Jerry quit. He wanted to do something that would benefit the quality of people's lives. So, he started leading workshops, and in these workshops he asked people 'If you could ask God five questions, what would you ask?' People loved this question. Just asking them to consider their questions seemed to lighten them up. They got very curious. What would they ask God?
From culling many of these questions and the answers people had for their own questions, he wrote this book. ( I show them Laughing with God... ) Jerry then self published it, and I'm out today telling people about it as a game to have fun, lighten myself up and notice any discomfort I have in being out in the world. The book sells for $10 and I request you buy one.
And then the person does whatever he or she does, just like we always and all do. They were doing it while I was doing what I did, and then the presentation is over and they'll either buy or not.
My heart races now. I wonder what will happen tomorrow. ...
Ta Da!
I call that a sale. What about you?

Thanks Tracey for the spiel. I'm so excited I may wet my pants.
Tracey--I like your spiel. I will customize it for Spiritual Harmony. I notice that my tendency is to do a much shorter spiel because I don't think they want to spend more time listening to me...more stuff to see (and celebrate?)
